Product Description

As a healthy drink Neem Tea has been around for many years (centuries) in traditional Ayurvedic medicine as a natural aid for those with Arthritis, blood disorders, Rheumatism, headaches, colds, diabetes, Eczema and malaria.

In Ayruveda Neem is regarded as a blood purifier as it is a bitters and, as the liver is a bitter organ, Neem enhances the liver activities and helps to rid the blood of toxins.
For Gout it gives wonderful relief as many a man has found out.

The leaves are collected from the trees before they have a chance to fall onto the ground so that aflatoxins cannot develop. We then dry our leaves on racks for several days and then the leaves are checked for any bacteria before packaging them.  It has a bitter taste, naturally, so for those with a sweet tooth you can add honey, sugar or add it to your own favourite tea. In summer it can be cooled down in the fridge to enjoy.

Neem Leaf Tea may prevent or assist in the cure of the following complaints, however, if you have a serious or recurring illness, please see a competent Natural Health Practitioner or Doctor.

Suggested complaints to benefit from using Neem Leaf are: Gout, Headache (both minor & migraine headaches) – Sore Throats – Colds – Influenza – Arthritis & Rheumatism – Diabetes – Eczema – as well as Fevers – herpes – food poisoning – shingles – thrush – dandruff – high blood pressure – lowering of cholesterol – kidney problems – malaria.

Over thousands of years, Neem Leaf has been used by hundreds of millions of people and no hazards have been documented at normal dosages.
Only at extreme high levels may neem be toxic to infants – this can be true of anything taken internally.

High antioxidant for good health….

Antioxidants One of the hottest topics in the natural food industry is antioxidants, probably because they play a critical role in preventing damage that plays a significant role in initiating chronic degenerative diseases like atherosclerosis, diabetes, heart disease Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s as well as speeding up the plain old (pun intended!) process of aging.

Oxidative stress is a natural process that occurs as cells produce energy. Free radicals, a by-product of this process, damage cells (including DNA) and tissue. The problem occurs when the body’s resources for quenching these free radicals or repairing the damage they cause aren’t adequate.

Antioxidants are in many foods and many of the health benefits of foods like blueberries, broccoli and cranberries are directly related to their antioxidant levels. The ORAC test (oxygen radical absorbance capacity), described online at www.usingneem.com , shows that all forms of neem are extraordinarily high in antioxidants, far higher than foods on the high antioxidant lists.

Along with its immune-boosting properties, high antioxidant levels may help to explain why neem is known around the world as “the village pharmacy”

NUTRIENT – ORAC per gram
Neem Leaf — 357.00
Cranberry – 94.56
Plums – 62.39
Blueberries – 62.20
Spinach – 26.40
Broccoli – 15.90
Grapefruit – 15.48
Tomatoes – 4.60

Note:

Only at extreme high levels may neem be toxic to infants – this can be true of anything taken internally.

Neem is not recommended for those who are pregnant, wishing to become pregnant or lactating mothers.

Traditional Uses

Neem has been used in ancient Ayurveda & Unani medicine for over 5,000 years in India where it is revered as “The Wonder Tree” and as “The Village Pharmacy”. All parts of the tree are used. The leaves, seeds, bark, fruit, extracts and oils derived from these, have very specific applications in medicine, toiletries and cosmetics and public health.

In Sanskrit writings the Neem Tree is known as “Aristha” – meaning the reliever of all diseases and it use in Hindu medicine dates back to early times.  United Nations has declared the Neem Tree as “The Tree of the 21st Century”as it does so much for so many.

The tables listed below are given as a guide only using current knowledge about the traditional and historical uses of Neem.

Neeming Australia wishes you to know that none of the Traditional information applies to the pet and animal kingdom nor does it apply to agriculture

DISCLAIMER:
Neem’s use for over 5,000 years by millions of people for a wide range of ailments & complaints demonstrates that it can be used in numerous ways to benefit humans.    Some of these uses are summarised in the attached schedule.
In the interest of providing further & better information we suggest that pregnant & lactating women & those wishing to become pregnant should avoid using Neem products unless recommended by their health practioner.

We acknowledge that we make no claims to cures which may or may not be directly related to Neem but we submit that the use of Neem and the anecdotal evidence suggests that Neem may assist humans to cure themselves. Remember also, that in great traditional medical systems or folk medicines such as in China or India, the therapeutic value of substances were discovered by trying out herbs and other natural substances and finding out what worked for the patient by experience. That approach is still valid. Natural products are meant to support the body’s attempts to maintain good health.

Please note that this Traditional Uses Schedule is a guide only for humans and does not apply to Pet & Animals nor to Agriculture

This information is provided for education and information purposes only.
It is not intended to take the place of timely medical attention and/or the doctor/patient relationship. Professional advice should be sought prior to using medicines and botanicals and the same procedure should be used with Neem.
