ESTATE® Herbicide 250ml

The 3-way blend of herbicides work well in combination and play slightly different roles in weed control:

• MCPA (Group 4): Moves through the plant accumulating in growing points of the stems interfering with cell division.
• Clopyralid (Group 4): Accumulates in the main growing points, causing rapid growth and eventual death.
• Diflufenican (Group 12): Inhibits the production of carotenoids, preventing photosynthesis.

Re-entry Period

• DO NOT allow entry into treated areas until the spray has dried. When prior entry is necessary wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equipment clothing) and chemical resistant gloves. Clothing must be laundered after each day’s use.

Precautionary Statements

• This product is a registered agricultural chemical and must, therefore, be used in accordance with the container label directions.

• Each user should read this SDS and consider the information in the context of how the product will be handled and used in the workplace including in conjunction with other products.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Harmful if swallowed. Will damage the eyes. Will irritate skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after use. When opening the container, preparing the spray and using the prepared spray wear:
  • cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist,
  • washable hat,
  • elbow-length PVC gloves and
  • goggles.
  • After each day’s use, wash gloves, goggles and contaminated clothing.

Implementation particular terms

• DO NOT apply if weeds or turf are under stress or when frosts are imminent.
• DO NOT use if rain is expected within 4 hours.
• DO NOT use clippings as mulch around other plants or for composting.
• DO NOT use on bent grass or winter grass golf and bowling greens.

Mixing and spraying

• Shake original container before use. Continuously agitate the diluted product to ensure thorough mixing before and during application.
• Only mix sufficient chemical for each day’s work.
• Surfactants (if used) should be added after Estate® Herbicide and water are mixed when spray-tank is almost full.
• THOROUGHLY CLEAN ALL APPLICATION EQUIPMENT AFTER USE.
• Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated area or if unavailable onto unused land away from desirable plants and water courses.

Water volume

• Registered rate: 5 L in 200-500 L water/ha
• The required water volume may be determined by applying different test volumes, using different settings on the sprayer, from industry guidelines or expert advice.

Compatibility

• No information is available that indicates physical compatibility with other products therefore, tank-mixing other products with Estate® Herbicide is not recommended. As formulations of other manufacturer’s products are beyond the control of Syngenta Australia Pty Ltd, all mixtures should be tested prior to mixing commercial quantities
